It’s time to Speak Up! Project Single Moms Worldwide, Inc. is launching National Advocacy Week for Single Mothers May 7 -11, 2012, the week before Mother’s Day.  Leaders, members and supporters of Project Single Moms Worldwide will use the power of social media to launch our inaugural National Advocacy Week online campaign.  The purpose of National Advocacy Week is to educate and inform our constituents about our movement as well as statistics and information they need to know about those single mothers who are doing well and those who not doing so well in our country.

CALLING ALL ADULT CHILDREN RAISED BY SINGLE MOTHERS! It’s time to celebrate those single mothers who have been triumphant in taking care of their households and raising their children to become healthy, productive, successful adult members of society. Project Single Moms Worldwide, Inc. salutes those single mothers who are often misjudged and stigmatized because they were placed in a position to parent on their own due to their life circumstances. We are using our national platform to allow adult children raised by single mothers an opportunity to celebrate their moms. Beginning Mother’s Day and each week following, we will feature the story and video submitted by her adult child along with her photo.
