In July 2007, Project Single Moms was launched with 47 single moms from across the country who contributed their single mom stories to Life As A Single Mom: It Isn't Easy, Or It? which was published October 26, 2007. Life As A Single Mom is the debut book of Stephanie M. Clark, Founder & CEO, My Daughter's Keeper, Inc. and the National Director for Project Single Moms.
The group of single moms were invited to attend a Launch Breakfast in New Jersey where they shared their stories, laughed, cried and bonded over the experience. These 47 women are the first group of Project Single Mom Ambassadors.
